Thomas Cormac Connery son of Captain Callan Connery of the USS Leonid. Thomas is a veteran of the Royal Navy, having achieved the rank of Lieutenant. He continued to serve in the Royal Naval Reserve until 2351 at 52 years of age.
At 26, when his father left on an exploration mission, he took upon himself a board seat, and then the chairmanship of the Delancey Foundation. Having grown up visiting and being a part of the foundation activities his whole life, maintaining this as an adult was expected by all.
For an unknown reason, in 2351 Thomas broke ties with the organization. His last acts as a Chairman of the board were to contact representatives of the Delancey family at Vega Colony, and a few days later to sign all claim to assets or proceeds from the foundation out of his name and back to the care of the foundation in the name of the Delancey clan.
Thomas became a professional historian, and writer. He found he had a great talent for uncovering clues which would lead to treasures thought lost. In his career, he uncovered numerous hidden caches of historical documents, original scales, lost manuscripts, and rare artworks. Treasures hidden in caches all over the Earth, hidden during the long period of War and unrest from previous centuries.

The Connery family is based out of Edinburgh, Scotland and traces their family in that county back for at least 40 generations. The Connery family history boasts a member of its extended family has served in the Royal Navy every generation as far back as the Navy history exists.
