Personal History[]
Born on an agrarian world of the Free Cardassian Conclave, Telek expected nothing more than farming prior to the annexation of Malto VI. Telek was outraged, vowing to fight back, and when his own homeworld was accepted as a Federation protectorate, Telek saw an opportunity. As soon as he was of age, eh applied for and was accepted into Starfleet Academy.
Four years later, Telek has graduated from the Academy. Determined to succeed, yet still feeling like an outsider due to a low number of Cardassians in Starfleet, Telek sees his presence as part of the road to improvement and redemption. His goal is to become a shining example of Cardassian excellence and Federation ideals by devoting himself to science and medicine.
