CLASS DESCRIPTION[]
This class of Borg vessel is somewhat less common than the Cube, but is still instantly recognizable as Borg. Armed with many of the same abilities as the Cube, the Sphere operates on a somewhat smaller scale. The first sphere observed by Starfleet successfully traveled back in time in an attempt to assimilate Earth in the past, although the attempt was stopped by the crew of the USS Enterprise.
