Family History[]
Ragnar was born to Björn Sigurd Ragnarsson and Aslaug Haroldsdottir in New Seattle Hospital on Izar in 2382. Ragnar was then raised on his father's farming compound. His sister Yngrid Hrafna Björnssdottir was born in 2398 followed by his sister Brundhilde Ása Björnssdottir in 2401, Ragnar entered Starfleet academy the same year his youngest sister Helga Freya Björnssdottir was born in 2404. Ragnar's family was displaced during the Iconoian war after the attack and near complete destruction of Izar. These events lead to Yngrid joining Starfleet and his parents relocation to Earth. After the war Ragnar spent some time assisting with the rebuild of Izar during leaves.
Ragnar married Sara Natalya Asimova in the summer of 2338. They have no children.
Pre-Starfleet Schooling[]
Ragnar attended the Izar Youth Academy, and Garth Academy for his pre academy schooling, He never truly excelled over his peers but made very high marks and tested very well. Ragnar was an athlete competing in power lifting, track and field and wrestling. He also took a liking to flight training becoming an accomplished youth pilot.
Starfleet Academy Class of 2404 (Spring Graduation)[]
Ragnar entered the academy in a normal cadet cycle. He was fast tracked into the advanced pilot training program with focuses primarily in combat training and squadron command as part of the rapid staffing initiatives brought about but the Klingon War. Upon his graduation Ragnar was transferred into the fleet.
SFA 387 Peregrine Attack Wing (Hell Strikers) Attached USS Ross(November 2404 -2410)[]
Callsign: Thundergod
Ragnar joined the Starfleet Fighter Attack Wing attached to the Galaxy class carrier conversion USS Ross in 2404 as a ensign. He was a Peregrine pilot heavily focused in a ground attack role. Eventually he rose to the rank of Flight leader and Lt JG. Due to his skill he was eventually selected by Captain Lars Skjolnar to join him when he took command of the USS Seattle
USS Seattle (2410-2412)[]
The USS Seattle was a refit and rapidly restored to service Sao Paola class escort from the Dominion war. Ragnar served as the flight officer of the ship until its technical destruction in battle with the Klingons in 2412 under Captain Lars Skjolnar. While the ship was not salvageable Ragnar managed to take command after an injury to Captain Skjolnar and emerge victorious from the battle. After recovery the Seattle was slated for salvage but 33 of the 45 total crew survived the battle.
USS Leyte Gulf (2410-2415)[]
The USS Leyte Gulf was a flight 16 Excelsior class heavy cruiser under the command of Captain Tulak. Ragnar served aboard as flight officer for three years attaining the rank of Lieutenant.
USS Ayanami (2415-2419)[]
Admiral Nyoko Honda stole Ragnar from Captain Tulak to be her new helmsmen on her flagship. Ragnar served on the ayanami through the Undine conflict and Icononian war eventually rising to the position of First officer and the rank of Lt Commander.
USS Caelian (2419-2430)[]
Ragnar took the position first of chief tactical officer of the USS Caelian in 2419 under the command of Captain Jackson Riens. He served with distinction and upon the retirement of Commander Lawrence in 2422 he took the position of First officer which he served in until transferring to a similar position on the USS Mjolnir under Captain Marcus Maximus Aquila.
USS Mjolnir (2430-Present)[]
Ragnar first came on board the Mjolnir as first officer following the end of the Dawnbreaker War. Though he had actually been serving in that capacity throughout the last battles of the war itself as the Caelian was utilized by Admiral Elizabeth Razzor on a special mission and the Mjolnir needed his services more. After the war the transfer was made permanent. Two Years later he took Command of the ship and has commanded it ever sense.

Homestead, outside New Seattle Izar[]
Ragnar has a farming homestead outside New Seattle on Izar near his parents compound.
Villa outside Capua, Magna Roma[]
Ragnar and Sara have a villa granted to them by the Antonius family outside Capua on Magna Roma.
Framherjin[]
Ragnar has a hand forged axe made for him by his father. He carries this axe on every deployment and it has been battle tested.
