CLASS DESCRIPTION[]
One of the smallest designs in regular use by the Borg, the Probe is typically used to scout for new targets and assess their viability for assimilation. Though this class does possess the standard transwarp capability, it does not appear to wield the same power that the Sphere and Cube do. Thus far, probes have only been observed using energy weapons in their attacks, though it is assumed they could adapt to use more powerful weaponry if necessary.
