The Navaar is a ship owned by an Orion named Nalie and named after an Orion from the 22nd century. Thought by many to be a single ship, Navaar is in fact no less than five separate ships, all of which are named Navaar and operate different routes. By utilizing multiple ships, the Navaar can accomodate many more passengers in the same amount of time without extending the routes. The fact that these ships are all different classes is overlooked by most who book passage. The current ships bearing the name Navaar come in four varieties: a Bortas'qu, a Dominion Dreadnought, a Dominion Carrier, an Orion Blackguard cruiser, and a Risian Luxury cruiser. Despite the difference in size and shape, all four ships seem to offer essentially the same services.
Routes[]
Passengers of the Navaar can utilize any of the routes, and can pay for either a single leg, a full circuit, or a Ship-hopper package that allows them to travel on multiple ships to reach multiple destinations at their leisure. Deep Space 9, Risa, and Starbase 220 act as hubs for at least two routes each. The current routing options are as follows:
- Earth -> DS9 -> Risa -> Earth
- New Romulus -> Risa -> Drozana -> New Romulus
- Q'onos -> Risa -> Starbase 220 -> Q'onos
- Karemma -> DS9 -> Risa -> Solenae Sphere -> Umbral Gateway -> Karemma
- Starbase 220 -> Citadel -> Various LMC planets -> Citadel -> Starbase 220
Services[]
Navaar offers a wide variety of services, ranging from simple transportation to certain activities that even Risa won't offer. Some of these offerings are limited to VIP guests, and a few are not offered to Federation passengers at all, to avoid any legal issues.
