The Kzari are very authoritarian and their society has a very rigid hierarchal structure, They are ruled by a singular leader, known simply as The Chancellor.
The culture tends to be one of cold and brutal efficiency. Although interactions with the Federation have softened Kzari outlook to a great degree.
The Kzar suffered a great deal according to reports following the war against the darkness from two million years ago. It remains unclear which side their race was on during the conflict. It has been noted a great deal of animosity exists towards the Travynei as a race. However they also appear to be the ones who imprisoned Syndra in the Cheribian Prison Box for what they call 'Crimes of Genocide.

Kzari Starnznavy Officers
The USS Sentinel encountered an armada of more than fifty of these unidentified starships over Bursal IV on Stardate 95436.12. Though belonging to the Kzari Starnznavy, very little about the purpose of these massive starships remains known to date. Sensors were unable to penetrate their shielding due to highly advanced sensor interference. What little intelligence that has been gathered to date is largely speculative.
