CLASS DESCRIPTION[]
Mostly active during the mid-2200's, the D-7 was considered the Klingon's direct counterpart to the Constitution class starship, with comparable speed, maneuverability, defense and weapons. However, the class was upgraded by the turn of the century, and relabled the K't'inga class.
As one of the oldest Klingon designs still in service, the K't'inga has seen action in every major action since the 2200's, including both Klingon-Federation Wars, the Klingon-Cardassian War, and the Dominion War.
