Dr Ta'pev is a romulan scientist that worked fro the Romulans in an effort to adapt Borg technology too romulan. On Stardate 88360.00 she and her daughter were extracted from a secret base with critical data about the Romulan's efforts to perfect this technology by Captain Honda and the crew of the USS Ayanami. Dr Ta'pev now resides on Earth working for the Federation in furthering the understanding of Borg Technology.
