CLASS DESCRIPTION[]
First encountered in 2364, the D'deridex is one of the largest and most powerful Romulan starships in service. Armed with at least 10 disruptor banks and several torpedo launchers, the D'deridex is at least as strong as a Galaxy class in terms of pure firepower. The ship's cloaking device renders it very hard to detect, and the artificial singularity core provides more than enough power for its operation.
The D'deridex class has seen service in every major conflict since 2364, including the Dominion War. Presumably, the ship has also been upgraded with newer technology, but this has yet to be confirmed.
