CLASS DESCRIPTION[]
Easily the most recognized Borg vessel, the Cube was first encountered in the 2360's by the USS Enterprise. Within a year, a Cube had entered Federation space, headed straight for earth. The cube was destroyed, but not without significant losses. A second attack in 2372 also included an attempt to travel back in time, but was also stopped by the USS Enterprise.
The Cube has demonstrated the ability to travel at speeds greater than Warp 9.97, as well as transwarp velocities. In addition, the Cube can regenerate itself, and has weaponry capable of destroying starships with little effort.
