Unlike most organizations, the Borg are not individuals, and do not have any obvious social structures, economy, or military distinctions. The entire Collective operates as a single hive mind that can be directed by the Queen.

Starships[]
The Borg typically use simple geometric shapes for their ships, such as the cube or the sphere. These ships all appear to be decentralized, in that there are no obvious command centers or other features commonly found on starships. Weapons and other emitters are spaced symetrically around the hull as well, allowing Borg vessels to engage targets on all sides without turning to bring their devices to bear.
