BIOGRAPHICAL NOTES[]

Personal History[]

As the son of two Starfleet officers, Adama spent much of his childhood on starships and starbases. Between the stories and messages with his half-sister Zoë, Adama was heavily influenced to join Starfleet and follow in his parents' footsteps.

Life on a starship can be boring for a child, and as such Adama found an escape through sports, such as anbo-jiyutsu. These activities, often practiced with his younger sister Caritha, kept Adama engaged and in good shape physically. In school, Adama often showed a lack of interest in anything not practical or physically demanding. Although he did show some potential in engineering, his real interest quickly became weapons and marksmanship. This interest primarily centered around seeing footage of his own mother engaged in training and away missions.

At the Academy, Adama struggled to find his path, but instructors noticed his marksmanship skills and nudged him toward a focus in security. A secondary focus in Engineering ensured that Adama would have useful skills in both categories, allowing him to be as useful in construction as he was in destruction.
